Why use a steel posts when I could use wood posts?
Wood posts rot over times and can warp or twist due to rain,wind or extreme temperature.The integrity and appearance of wood post is lost after it begins to rot from exposure or termite infestation.This deterioration weakens the post,sometimes to the point where it can no longer hold the trellis up,while steel post will not rot and carry disease,this provides a long lasting strength.

This saves you money on shipping,handing and cost of the posts themselves,also a lighter post means easier installation comparing with other materials like concrete and wood.
